Market Basket - Classic Tan

The Market Basket is individually handmade from genuine vegetable tanned cowhide leather sourced from Tuscany, Italy. The bag that you receive will be very similar to the listed photo. Due to the nature of leather, there may be natural differences in leather grains, slight variations in the color due to the natural vegetable tanning process, and minor imperfections. These factors will ensure that each bag is unique. Your bag will feel stiff at first but will soften with use, and take on its own unique character.

We ship globally. Confirmation of the shipping costs will be provided at checkout. We currently offer free shipping to most states within the USA. You will receive a UPS tracking number once your order has been processed and shipped. Orders are usually delivered 1 - 7 days from shipment in the USA. All orders ship from Avon, Connecticut 06001, USA.

We guarantee the craftsmanship and quality of our bags. If for some reason you are not happy with your purchase, please email us  to discuss a return or a replacement. We will not accept returns after 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, or returns that show signs of wear.

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. We encourage you to obtain a tracking number and insurance for your return shipment. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged items in the return shipment. A refund will be processed upon receipt and full inspection of the returned item.

The CAROLYN MACKENZIE market bag is made from genuine vegetable tanned leather sourced from Tuscany, Italy. Vegetable tanned leather is tanned using natural plant based ingredients allowing the leather to naturally soften and patina with age and use. Your bag will become more beautiful overtime. The leather can be cleaned with a damp cotton cloth, and condition the leather with a quality leather conditioner. The suede side of the leather has been sealed with a protective finish to prevent the absorption of oils and repel moisture. A damp cloth can be used to clean the inside.
